Texts submitted to the editorial staff are subject to an internal assessment procedure, after which the author receives a decision on accepting or rejecting the text.
The Secretary of the editorial staff – after a preliminary assessment – sends the submitted text to two independent reviewers – who are not members of the editorial staff and have a different affiliation from the author's – to prepare the review.
Reviewers do not know the identity of the author(s) of the reviewed publication, as well as do not know who is the second reviewer (so-called double-blind review process). Editorial staff in selecting reviewers considers their competence and any circumstances of conflict of interest.
In the process of peer-review of the article, the following factors are taken into account:
- originality and timeliness of the problem;
- the quality of analysis and arguments;
- methodical assumptions of the article;
- text structure and title adequacy;
- scope and quality of solutions to the problem;
- applicability;
- linguistic quality.
